Toronto through my eyes-
Toronto a magical box of cultures. Toronto is like a mid-aged classy, elegant, cosmopolitan charming woman with flashy, shiny buildings which represent her outfit, combined with a mix of European restaurants, which reflect on her personality and roots. Flashy shops which provide her decorations, jewellery. Very dynamic, vibrant and energetic.
Highway towards Toronto offers some beautiful view, with a lot of trees on both sides of the road. This road created the illusion like, we were in a deserted forest area.
Walking on the streets of this cosmopolitan city of Toronto, among the gigantic skyscrapers, have observed that old and new style architecture exist side by side. Toronto has a remarkable collection of new structures, at the same time well preserved historical buildings, which bring the European atmosphere into the city.
Markham, tiny, yet beautiful town near Toronto with, charming little shops with very welcoming outlook. Nice stop for a coffee.
Canadian National (CN) Tower at downtown Toronto, a location full of activity, very vibrant happening place. If time permits, you may have lunch at 360 Degree revolving restaurant at CN tower, with it’s amazing panoramic views of the city, harbor and Toronto Islands.
Walked around the Financial district towards the Yonge street passing by Roy Thomson Hall (Beautiful architect), St Andrew’s Church, Old city hall and many interesting building.
Drove towards close by Downtown Yonge via Yonge Street, which is one of the most happening place in downtown – destination to shop all along the street as well as Eaton Center (Massive mall full of luxury and known brands).
Finally headed towards lake side Amsterdam Brewhouse at Lake Shore Blvd. Small drive, good lake side views and since it was getting darker, we had opportunity to view well lit and color changing CN tower lights show from the bar.
So, ready to visit Toronto?
